In this round of improvements, we added two (2) new fields in altHR Expenses and Travel modules, namely the ‘SST Included’ and ‘Training Code’ fields.

1. ‘SST Included’ Field in altHR Expenses

We added the ‘SST Included’ field into the current flow of raising an expense claim. When users are raising an expense claim, users will be able to see the ‘SST Included’ field just below the ‘Currency’ and ‘Amount’ fields.

Note that the ‘SST Included’ field will only appear when ‘MYR’ is selected as the claim’s currency. To indicate that the claim amount includes SST, users can simply check the box. The field exists in the altHR mobile and web apps, regardless of the claim type.

To view the information in the admin dashboard as an admin, admins can navigate to Expenses > Transactions > View and locate the ‘SST Included’ field in the Expense Transaction Summary.

Furthermore, the information will appear in the Expense Reports shown as ‘Receipt Status’. If SST is included, the ‘Receipt Status’ will be shown as ‘Tax’. Otherwise, it will be shown as ‘Receipt’.

2. ‘Training Code’ Field in altHR Travel

For Training-related travels, we now have a section for admins to create training codes and for employeees to specify the training code when submitting a travel request.

To configure the list of training codes, simply head over to Travels > Settings > Training Code. Click ‘Create New Training Code’ and input the Training Code Name as well as the Description to create a new Training Code.

Admins will be able to Edit and Archive the training code once it has been created. Users will be able to select the created training code when submitting a Travel Request in the mobile and web apps.

To view the information in the admin dashboard as an admin, admins can navigate to Travels >  Requests > View and locate the ‘Training Code Name’ field in the Travel Request Summary.

Furthermore, the information will appear in the Travel Reports shown as ‘Training Code’. If a travel code is included, the Training Code column will show the selected code for the travel request.
