They need to help employees familiarise themselves with the technology know-how that is part of their work, as well as train them thoroughly, in order to achieve optimal efficiency as well as maximise their skill and time when working remotely.
While employees should also make an effort to learn, it starts with managers setting the right tone to provide direction to their teams. The entire organisation needs to come together to make remote working a success.
